Our History
Quality Auto Mart & Service was started in 1985 by Mark Roepke. Small town automotive repair shop in the town of Batesville, IN. Settled between Indianapolis, IN and Cincinnati, OH. In 1995, golf carts were introduced to the business.
We are a Christian, family-owned automotive repair shop along with golf cart sales and service provider.
On January 1, 2023, the business was transferred to Fred & Lorene Venis. We are blessed to continue the service that was started almost 4 decades ago. Fred did not always think that owning a business was for him. But after years of working with Mark and learning how the business helps others, he wanted to continue the work that was being done.
We continue to hold ourselves to a higher standard. Our ASE Automotive trained technicians can service all your automotive and golf cart needs.

About the Team
Years of experience in one building!
Our Automotive Technician(middle), Jon, has been with us for over 18 years. He is an ASE Automotive Certified Technician.
We know that the automotive industry is constantly changing and so are we. We are always looking for the newest information to keep you safe and moving.
Our Shop Assistant(left), Walter, has been with our crew for over 5+ years. He is ready for any job. He is always ready to help Automotive or Golf Cart Techs to get the jobs done.
Our Golf Cart Technician(right), Pete, has been with the crew for over 10+ years. He is continuously reading and learning more about the golf carts every day. If you are having an issue that you don't think there is an answer for, think again. He will find the answer. He can help make an ordinary golf cart into a dream. From small electrical issues to engine work or rebuilds it happens on his work bench.
Automotive Awareness Day
Fred had a great day spending time with the freshman students at Oldenburg Academy in Oldenburg, Indiana. They learned hands on how to change a tire to hooking up jumper cables. They may not be auto repair gurus, but they know where to find the oil dip stick and how to read and understand what their dash lights mean. The class reviewed common safety aspects of being a licensed driver. And how to ensure others are safe on and off the road.
Not only do we make sure that vehicles are safe, but we want to ensure our younger generation is educated about all the features on and in their vehicles. Learning when you need an oil change or if you need new tires. They learned about all of it.
Thank you to Oldenburg Academy for letting us spend the morning with the students teaching and review automotive care and repair safety.
